Weekend Events: Things to Do Around North Atlanta | September 11-13th

Things to do this weekend - 9/11

🇺🇸 Remembering 9/11 + A Full Weekend Ahead

Today marks 25 years since September 11th, a day we will never forget. Across North Atlanta, there are several opportunities to pause and remember those we lost and honor the first responders and countless others whose lives were forever changed. Suwanee will gather at Town Center Park, Johns Creek is holding a service of reflection, and Forsyth County will mark the anniversary with a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

As we head into the weekend, fall festival season is also getting into full swing! Ball Ground’s Art On Main and Canton’s Taste & Brews Music Festival both run Saturday and Sunday, Duluth is celebrating its 150th birthday downtown with The Smithereens and Grand Funk Railroad, and Woodstock wraps up its free Summer Concert Series with an Elton John/Billy Joel tribute.

There’s plenty more happening across North Atlanta, so scroll down, make a plan, and enjoy the weekend. And today, we remember. 🇺🇸
